    Description

African Mudcloth is a genuine, beautiful fabric and each piece is completely unique, which makes it very special. To create each piece of fabric, lengths of cotton are handwoven, stencilled and then sewn together.

Due to the nature of the Mudcloth, the fabric may show imperfections but this makes it even more beautiful and unique! The handmade material can have looser knits and be more dense than commercial fabrics, every pillow is a one-of-a-kind piece.

    Material

Front of these boho throw pillows are made from 100% cream cotton. Mudcloth fabric with black stencil detailing. Hand-spun cotton threads are hand-woven using narrow wooden looms into strips of cloth. The cloths are hand-dyed in small vats using local flora and fermented earth from the Niger riverbed.

    Classy Decor

This handmade and handprinted Mudcloth boho throw pillow makes a stunning addition to any interior! If you're looking for a rustic, bohemian or relaxing zen interior, just add a few of these! We suggest using a pillow insert anywhere between 1-2 inches larger than pillow cover for a stuffed look.

    FAQs

What’s the difference between linen, percale, and sateen?

Linen, percale, and sateen refer to different fabric feels and weaves. Linen is naturally textured, breathable, and cool with a relaxed, timeless look. Percale has a crisp, cool, matte finish with excellent airflow, perfect if you sleep warm. Sateen is smoother and softer with a subtle sheen and cozy drape, ideal if you like a richer, plush feel.

Does this bedding fit my mattress?

Our fitted sheets have a 15″ deep pocket, so they work with most standard or pillow-top mattresses. Check the size chart if you need exact dimensions before you choose.

Will this bedding feel different than what I’m used to?

Our fabrics use naturally breathable weaves and high-quality organic fibers, so they may feel softer, cooler, or more textured than conventional sheets. Many customers describe them as “crisp but cozy” (percale), “smooth and silky” (sateen), or “soft and relaxed” (linen). If you want a specific feel, check the fabric description above or contact us for help choosing.

How long will this bedding last?

Or & Zon bedding is crafted from long-lasting organic cotton and linen and designed to soften with time, not wear out quickly. With normal home care (gentle wash, low tumble dry or line dry), these textiles retain comfort and strength through many wash cycles, making them a product you can enjoy for years, not just months.

How should I care for my bedding?

Machine wash on gentle with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or line dry. This keeps organic fibers soft and breathable wash after wash.

What if I don’t like it?

No worries. We offer a 365-day trial with free returns. If you’re not satisfied, it’s easy and risk-free to return or exchange your bedding.
