What's in an Or & Zon sheet set?
Each sheet set includes 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, and 2 pillowcases. Cotton sheets come in percale or sateen; linen sheets are a separate material (Full / Queen / King). Our fitted sheets are 15" deep so they fit any mattress depth, including those with toppers. Sets are sold by material — choose linen for naturally crinkled drape, percale for crisp hotel-quality, or sateen for silky drape.
How our sheet sets are made
Every Or & Zon sheet set is woven in a family-run mill in northern Portugal using traditional looms. We use long-staple organic cotton sheets for percale and sateen and 100% French flax for linen. Long fibers are why our sheets feel smooth without inflated thread counts. Every set is Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified.

Frequently asked questions about sheet sets
What's the best sheet set material?
Linen is best for hot sleepers and year-round wear (most durable). Percale is best for the crisp hotel-bed feel and warm bedrooms. Sateen is best for cooler bedrooms and a silky, luxe drape.
How many sheet sets should I own?
At least 2-3 per bed: one in use, one in the wash, one in the closet. With organic cotton or linen sets, you only need a quarterly rotation since they last decades.
How often should I wash my sheets?
Every 1-2 weeks. Wash on gentle cycle in cold water with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener — it coats fibers and reduces breathability.
What's the difference between a sheet set and a bed set?
A sheet set includes fitted + flat sheet + pillowcases. A bed set (or "bed bundle") adds a duvet cover. Choose the bed set if you want a complete head-to-toe match.
