Sleep ROI Calculator: How Much Is Poor Sleep Costing You?
Most people underestimate the dollar cost of poor sleep by an order of magnitude.
Calculate your annual losses from short sleep, insomnia, and the healthcare exposure that comes with both. Backed by RAND Europe, the CDC, and peer-reviewed sleep research.

How we calculated this
Productivity loss is based on RAND Europe (2016), Why Sleep Matters — The Economic Costs of Insufficient Sleep: sleepers under 6h lose ~6 working days/year vs 7–8h sleepers; 6–7h sleepers lose ~3.7 days. Multiplied by 8h/day × your hourly wage.
Insomnia presenteeism is derived from Kessler et al., Sleep (2011) — average $27/night in lost output, scaled to your wage.
Healthcare cost increase is modelled on CDC sleep deficit data combined with Hafner et al. estimates: every hour below 7h adds ~$340/yr in chronic-condition exposure; weekly insomnia adds ~$180/yr per disturbed night.
